Class Expectations
Essential 10
- Respond to adults with “ma’am and sir”.
- Make eye contact when someone is speaking.
- Greet visitors and make them feel welcome.
- If you win, do not brag; if you lose, do not show anger.
- Learn from your mistakes and move on.
- No matter what the circumstances, always be honest.
- Be the best person you can be.
- Surprise others by performing random acts of kindness.
- Respect other students’ comments, opinions, and ideas.
- Be positive and enjoy life.

Student's may also be asked to move their magnet down from green to yellow or red. Parent's will receive a note describing the offense.
Rewards:
In this classroom we use positive behavior management
~When I see a child going above and beyond in the classroom I will give them a spot. Once the child reaches ten spots, they receive a prize. This year, we will also be earning points on DOJO. Each time I see a child being a spotlight student they will receive a point. Rewards will be awarded at various point levels. Points will be reset at the beginning of each nine weeks!
~As a class we try to fill up a marble jar. When we do, we will get a treat or a party! The class earns marbles for attendance, compliments, high grades and having an outstanding day.
